Whitman-Walker Clinic “Business of Choice” Partners
Whitman-Walker Clinic would like to recognize those corporate partners who support our efforts to provide quality health care services in the Washington, DC, metropolitan area. Our “Business of Choice” partners share in our commitment to serving those communities most grossly affected by HIV/AIDS. These partners also support the Clinic position as a leader in serving the health needs of the lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender (LGBT) community.

Why Do Corporations Give?
Successful corporations see themselves as
responsible for strengthening the communities where they live,
work and do business. No longer will it be enough to measure
business by profit, efficiency, and market share. Americans
are now concerned with how the private sector will contribute
to standards of social justice, environmental sustainability,
the health and strength of community, and the values by which
we choose to live.
When structured properly and managed effectively,
corporate giving is a vital part of a company's broader social
involvement. It enhances a company's performance, morale,
and reputation, while offering the opportunity to make a positive
impact on society.
At Whitman-Walker Clinic, we have a number
of opportunities for partnership with corporations from event
sponsorship to direct program support. For more information,
