All services are available to the Spanish-speaking community through bilingual staff and volunteers. Other translation services are available upon request.

Primary medical care, including regular check ups, urgent care for illness, testing for sexually transmitted infections, pediatric care and obstetric care is available to the GLBT community at Whitman-Walker Clinic. To schedule an appointment, call 202-939-7690.

Behavioral Health Care
Lesbians and bisexual women can access behavioral health care services geared specifically for them.

The Breast Health Initiative offers access to mammography, clinical breast exams and breast self-exam education. BHI helps women with breast health/chest health concerns navigate the health care system. For more information, please call (202) 797-4454 or e-mail mdavieswwc.org.

Peer support services provide individual counseling and support groups facilitated by trained and supervised peer counselors to address issues related to coming out, relationships, health and wellness, aging and other common life issues.
